The opportunity that I will be pursuing is the creation of a supplement line designed to meet the wellness needs of all, especially women. Many women are heavily undervalued in the supplement and wellness industry, and I want to seize that opportunity to create a line that values women in the market. I intend to create a line of supplements that focuses on the benefits of vitamins and minerals to maximize gut health, energy, and recovery.
Part 2:
The Who: Individuals trying to pursue a healthier lifestyle, specifically women and young adults.
The What: Women are undervalued in the supplement market and I want to create a line of supplements directly for them.
The Why: There are very limited options for women to choose from when picking supplements.
Part 3:
Testing the Who: The main individuals who share this need are women specifically, but also other individuals trying to find a cleaner supplement line more focused on overall health.
Testing the What: The supplement line will benefit those most interested in pursuing a better quality of health, but those seeking a more "bodybuilding" line of supplements will not be as interested.
Testing the Why: Individuals focused on building a healthier lifestyle will be interested in this line of supplements, but these individuals also might be drawn to another company based on another need.
Part 4:
Summary: Between all of my five interviews I was able to take away a few key aspects for my opportunity and its application into this market. I was able to find that most women again feel left out when it comes to supplements, and think most supplement lines are too intense or worthless.

Hey David,
ReplyDeleteI love this idea for an opportunity! I totally agree on the fact that a lot of times there are certain supplements that could benefit women but are left out. I never had really even thought about supplements being specifically marketed for women. I know there are specific ones for women but they usually pertain to iron deficiencies or other just general needs. I think its a great opportunity and that there is definitely a market there to pursue!
