Elevator Pitch No. 2
2) A reflection on the feedback you received from your last pitch.
-All of the comments I received on the first elevator pitch were very positive and complementing. I wanted to focus on addressing the products more directly in this video. I did this by directing attention to the product's development and its ingredients. However, it is hard for people to understand exactly what I am talking about due to the uniqueness of these various ingredients. I honestly received very little suggestions on how to improve on my elevator pitch.
3) What did you change, based on the feedback?
-The only real suggestion or tweak to the pitch that was recommended was by Lamar. He stated that I should add some evidence to back the pitch in order to give credibility to the products produced by Anam Beauty and Wellness. It is difficult to list off lab statistics of various ingredients in order for individuals to understand because I would also have to describe the properties of these ingredients. I decided to be more direct and speak about the manufacturing details.
Hi David! I enjoyed watching your elevator pitch. I had a similar experience because I also received generally positive feedback on my first elevator pitch. I thought you did a good job incorporating your feedback into your video. My advice/constructive criticism is that the camera should be set up on a cabinet or windowsill like Prof. Pryor recommended for our elevator pitches. I also thought you had a great enthusiasm for your product, which was evident throughout your pitch. Overall, you were detailed yet concise in explaining the key features of your product. Great job!
ReplyDeleteDavid,
ReplyDeleteYou are so right when you say that a lot of companies are just selling inferior products to people who don't know better. I'm not an expert, but I know that a lot of ingredients in are sourced from China and are not effective due to poor quality. I hope you follow through with your plans. Also, definitely set camera higher for a better shot.
David,
ReplyDeleteI like how you incorporated the ideas Lamar had for enhancement into your pitch. By using numbers you sound more credible and add a unique edge to your pitch. The only thing I suggest is to adjust the lighting in your room. If you enhance the environment you are in, you look more professional. However, with the whole COVID19 diaspora, it might just be displacement issues.
